Pantera Bionda lived in Borneo, fought against cruel Japanese soldiers and only had two friends Lotus Leaf, an old Chinese woman and her pet chimpanzee Tao. She also had an American boyfriend named Fred. In spite of her success as a comic (100,000 copies of each issue sold) the publisher grew tired of the many lawsuits and seizures due to the righteous who accused the publishers of printing pornography, and stopped the title after two years.

When the Boy King separates Paris from the gang, Paris goes on a rampage at a circus, eventually killing his master Melton. With a little help from his twin brother Muggsy, Muggsy's fiance Anastasia, and the robotic Giant, Paris is captured and deactivated.

A Canadian crime-fighter and super-spy, the Penguin wore a bird-like mask, white tie and tails as his costume. His identity was never revealed to the readers, and although his foes regularly unmasked him, none of them ever lived long enough to reveal his name. The Penguin was renamed The Blue Raven when Bell Features attempted to break into the U.S. market, so as to avoid legal battles with National Periodical Publications, who published Batman. "In WOW comics #30, The Penguin was revealed as Bruce Baron, a affluent neo-socialite. While fans believed this to be another of Dingle's red herrings, the series ended before it could be fully determined whether or not it was true."
