Jay Watson, he of no origin, is a worker for the Wizard Kid Radio Program. He is constantly looking for news items he can use, but too often these are actually about crimes and criminals. He was for a time the sidekick of Hydroman but then went on to fly solo. When Jay is exposed to the sun's light he gains the ability to turn into Rainbow Boy; as Rainbow Boy he can fly at the speed of light and can mould his rainbow trail into any shape.
