Shrunk to only 6" tall by Dr. Barmell, 'Minimidget' was forced to kill most of Barmell's relatives with a poisoned needle. Before he could kill the last relative, however, he was trapped in a mousetrap and captured by the F.B.I. The F.B.I offered to drop the murder charges if he would help them shut down Barmell's operations and work for them in the future. Upon returning to Barmell's lair he helped free the other people that Barmell had shrunk (including Ritty) and capture Barmell. For some time after that he was sent on numerous adventures by the F.B.I. though he and Ritty seem to have been able to find plenty of adventure and crime on their own.
