Susan Kent is the daughter of a police sergeant and the girlfriend of Jim Barr. She discovers, more or less by accident, that Jim is Bulletman, and decides that she wants to help him fight crime. He invents a gravity-regulating helmet, just like his but sized for her, and she teams up with him to fight crime as Bulletgirl. She was a member of the Crime Crusaders Club. She had none of his superpowers but because of the helmet could fly and practice bullet-repulsion.

A sort of Green Arrow meets Cowboy comic. A crack shot with knife, gun and anything else he could get his hands on. Pretty much the same character as Frank Millers villain Bullseye who turned up in Daredevil twenty odd years later!.... Simon and Kirby launched Mainline Comics, to minimal fanfare and mediocre sales. With titles like In Love, Foxhole, Police Trap and Bulls-Eye, they had all the popular genres covered. They were the most successful and well-known creators in comics history. And they failed miserably. Most titles lasted only four issues.
